【摘要】:ClinicalPDDexaminationsrefertotheemploymentofpolygraphinstrumentationforthepurposeofdetectingdeceptionorverifyingtruthfulnessofstatementsofindividualsundercourtsupervision,orintreatmentforthecommissionofasexoffense.ClinicalPDDexaminationsarespecificallyintendedtoassistinthedetection,treatment,orsupervisionofsexoffenders.1.1Thisguideestablishesproceduresforconductingaclinicalpolygraphexamination(CPE),toinclude,butnotlimitedto,postconvictionsexoffendertesting(PCSOT).ThisPDDmodelisspecificallyintendedtoassistinthetreatmentandsupervisionofsexoffendersonprobation,parole,oradeferredprosecutionalternative.1.2Thisguidealsoappliestotheconductofclinicalpolygraphexaminationsfortherapeuticpurposeswhenrequestedbyapresidinglegalauthority.1.3Thisguidedirectsthatsuchexaminersforthisapplicationarespecificallytrainedinissuesassociatedwithsupervisionandtreatmentofsexoffenders.
