【摘要】:Thepurposeofthisguideistoprovidegeneralguidelinesforthedesignandoperationofhotcellequipmenttoensurelongevityandreliabilitythroughouttheperiodofservice.Itisintendedthatthisguiderecordthegeneralconditionsandpracticesthatexperiencehasshownisnecessarytominimizeequipmentfailuresandmaximizetheeffectivenessandutilityofhotcellequipment.Itisalsointendedtoalertdesignerstothosefeaturesthatarehighlydesirablefortheselectionofequipmentthathasprovenreliableinhighradiationenvironments.Thisguideisintendedasasupplementtootherstandards,andtofederalandstateregulations,codes,andcriteriaapplicabletothedesignofequipmentintendedforhotcelluse.Thisguideisintendedtobegenericandtoapplytoawiderangeoftypesandconfigurationsofhotcellequipment.1.1Intent:1.1.1Theintentofthisguideistoprovidegeneraldesignandoperatingconsiderationsforthesafeanddependableoperationofremotelyoperatedhotcellequipment.Hotcellequipmentishardwareusedtohandle,process,oranalyzenuclearorradioactivematerialinashieldedroom.Theequipmentisplacedbehindradiationshieldwallsandcannotbedirectlyaccessedbytheoperatorsorbymaintenancepersonnelbecauseoftheradiationexposurehazards.Therefore,theequipmentisoperatedremotely,eitherwithorwithouttheaidofviewing.1.1.2Thisguidemayapplytoequipmentinotherradioactiveremotelyoperatedfacilitiessuchassuitedentryrepairareas,canyonsorcaves,butdoesnotapplytoequipmentusedincommercialpowerreactors.1.1.3Thisguidedoesnotapplytoequipmentusedingloveboxes.1.2Applicability:1.2.1Thisguideisintendedforpersonswhoaretaskedwiththeplanning,design,procurement,fabrication,installation,ortestingofequipmentusedinremotehotcellenvironments.1.2.2Theequipmentwillgenerallybeusedoveralong-termlifecycle(forexample,inexcessoftwoyears),butequipmentintendedforuseoverashorterlifecycleisnotexcluded.1.2.3Thesystemofunitsemployedinthisstandardisthemetricunit,alsoknownasSIUnits,whicharecommonlyusedforInternationalSystems,anddefinedbyIEEE/ASTMSI10:AmericanNationalStandardforUseoftheInternationalSystemofUnits(SI):TheModernMetricSystem.1.3Caveats:1.3.1Thisguidedoesnotaddressconsiderationsrelatingtothedesign,construction,operation,orsafetyofhotcells,caves,canyons,orothersimilarremotefacilities.Thisguidedealsonlywithequipmentintendedforuseinhotcells.1.3.2SpecificdesignandoperatingconsiderationsarefoundinotherASTMdocuments.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
