【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsforthedeterminationofthebreakingforceandelon-gationatbreakoftextileyarnstakenfrompackages.Fourmethodsaregiven:—A:manual;specimensaretakendirectlyfromconditionedpackages;—B:automatic;specimensaretakendirectlyfromconditionedpackages;—C:manual;relaxedtestskeinsareusedaftercon-ditioning;—D:manual;specimensareusedafterwetting.2MethodCshouldbeusedincasesofdisputeregardingelongationatbreakoftheyarn.NOTE1MethodsA,BandCareexpectedtogivethesameresultsforyarnstrengthbutmethodCmaygivesomewhattruer(andhigher)valuesofelongationthanAorB.MethodDislikelytogiveresultsdiffering,forbothbreakingforceandelongationatbreak,fromthoseobtainedbymethodA,BorC.3ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsusingconstantrateofspecimenextension(CRE)tensiletesters.Testingonthenowobsoleteconstantrateoftravel(CRT)andconstantrateofloading(CRL)instrumentsiscovered,forinformation,inannexA,inrecognitionofthefactthattheseinstrumentsarestillpopularandmaybeusedbyagreement.4ThisInternationalStandardappliestoalltypesofyarnexceptglassyarns,elastomericyarns,aramidyarns,ceramicyarns,carbonyarnsandpolyolefintapeyarns.NOTE2AmethodforthetestingofglassyarnsisgiveninISO3341:1984,Textileglass—Yams—Determinationofbreakingforceandbreakingelongation.5ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletoyarnsfrompackagesbutcanbeappliedtoyarnsextractedfromfabrics,subjecttoagreementbetweenthein-terestedparties.6Itisintendedforthesingle-end(single-strand)testingofyarns.NOTE3TheskeinmethodoftestingisgiveninISO6939:1988,Textiles—Yarnsfrompackages—Methodoftestforbreakingstrengthofyarnbytheskeinmethod.
